A great spot for a group getaway! We loved the cozy vibes, and Margie's breakfasts set us up perfectly for the day. After filling up, we visited the stunning gardens and the nearby Alcove. The walk to town was easy, with plenty of shops and restaurants to explore.

While we enjoyed the stay, the path back to the property at night was a bit tricky due to poor lighting, so be cautious if you're out after dark.

Just a smart choice for a short weekend trip in Mount Dora with good value. The breakfast spread was impressive, especially the delicious homemade breads. Bring lighter luggage if you're on higher floors since there's no elevator.

I spent a lovely couple of nights at Heron Cay Lakeview Bed & Breakfast. The Zoi Garden room offered a beautiful antique decor, adding charm to the atmosphere, along with a great view of the grounds. Margie, the innkeeper, greeted me warmly and made breakfast the highlight of my stay. The eggs each morning were thoughtfully prepared, though I wished for more variety on the menu. The walk to town was pleasant but my return at night was a bit treacherous due to poor lighting along the uneven path. The bed was comfortable, but the linens could use refreshing. I really enjoyed the peacefulness of the grounds and the pool area, though I noticed some debris around the pool, likely from the recent pollen season. Overall, the experience was delightful, but some aspects need a little attention.

This place suits me perfectly with amenities like free parking, outdoor swimming pool, air conditioning, and wi-fi. On my first stay, the staff helped with currency exchange recommendations, and Margie's hospitality made it unforgettable. I’m coming back for Easter!
